Tasted Asia
Just as any blog event, the whole night is spelled out fun for bloggers and success for the organizer. I read somewhere that it only took about 2 weeks to plan this event. Think about the power of blogging… and of free foods as well.

An avalanche of bloggers came to the Mall of Asia last Tuesday (June 3) to “Taste Asia“. It was an event sponsored by SM hypermarket for bloggers as well as other guests.
I came with LA since we’re both in U-belt prior to the event and arrived to see a lot of people who are already on the process of tasting asia. Outside we met Poell who just arrived too (I think) and inside we got to see Shari, Dr. Tess, Alan and the rest of the pinoy blogosphere.

On the next table was a group of bloggers who are in their first time to attend a blog event and proclaimed themselves as the “virgin bloggers”. Alan, I & Doc Tess (according to herself, lol) should belong to this group too! haha. Take note of the pores!

Kudos to the great minds behind cliquebooth! Its a sure winner and I’m sure it could be one of the must have features in any event in the near future. Really perfect for camwhores and bloggers alike.
I love the Chocolate (everybody does) fountain!!! It was really a tasty treat because the chocolate was so thick and creamy and the mallows and small breads that came with it were great too.
Note to self: Don’t bring a pure white hankie when eating (specially with the likes of a chocolate fountain), they show you how sloppy you are.

A mouth-watering photo taken by Karla
There was also this siopao-like (I don’t know what its called) food item, only it was done in the form of a meat filling sandwiched by two small, 2 inches long hotdog bun, or should I say, siopao bun. It also has a thin wrap around it and… “hindi iyon white rabbit“.
There is also the presence of fermented beverages that came in a mug for everyone to enjoy.
We stayed at the venue until past midnight I think and used the laptops to browse the Internet (i.e. videos of sinabawang gulay and the likes) while Marcelle is entertaining us in the background by playing the part of a walking songbook, you name it… he sings it. I just forgot to request “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer, I’m sure he could also squeak it.
We chose to extend the fun with Poell, Eric, Pierre, Dr. Tess, L.A. & Marcelle at Baywalk and as usual with any SEB it was a night of endless interesting discussions c/o Pierre (that’s what I like about this guy, he always have something to say) although he have lots of advices that I don’t know how should I react to. The topics went around the usual ones… relationships, sex and politics. Marcelle also performed 2 more fork tricks and a ring trick, still we were amazed with or without the intoxication.

The night has been long enough, all happened through Taste Asia and we called it a day at around 4am. Until we meet again!
