Blog Parteeh 2007

Bloggers are now slowly coming back to the virtual world after being off-line for a great blog parteeh and a good-night’s sleep afterwards. The parteeh was an all-out fun and enjoyment for the bloggers to get together and enjoy each other’s company. I want to congratulate the organizers for a job well done!

Recapping my checklist for the blog parteeh… to see the bloggers in flesh (check), to have more blogging friends (check), to take home an iPod (ex), etc (check).

Going to the party was just like a breeze, thanks to Shari whom I chanced upon to be on the same ride with. I really forgot on which street to get off so I just followed them (I have an insinct that she’s going to the parteeh too) and luckily she and her friend lead me the way to the event. Hehe.

After getting inside the venue, the first two persons I met were Poell (without an ‘e’ on the last and not related to nestle company) and Aldrin (the naruto fan and first one to blog excitedly about the event).

The filling up of the list of bloggers was really a good way to get to know your fellow bloggers name and keep your butt off of the chair and rub elbows with all the people there that you only see online.

Also on the same table were Dr. Tess (a true-blue party girl, she’s up for another party after the blog parteeh and off for a 24-hour duty the next day), L.A. (doesn’t draw, “art” is his name), the sweethearts Dominique and Dotep (yosi boy), they’re really a nice couple. Retz came in late but up for the fun just as well, he also gave some tips on blogging and shared his experiences with google adsense.
All of us in the table talked about everything under the sun like we’ve already met before.

On the next table were Aaron (what’s with the hair… the scarlet hair. hehe), Ade (also came in late because of work, I think), Alan (in personal, I thought he writes researches, but it was different when I went to his blog hehe, haven’t talked to this one though), Bulitas (I expected some quite “dirty” topics based on the name, but found otherwise), Gener (I already know this person), and Gail (I’ve already seen her blog before I started blogging, nice to meet her at the parteeh).

There was also the super energetic Pierre taking pictures, socializing and stuff. Chris who also took lots of pictures during the event and he is also with his wife Apple. Ganns who is really grateful for his Bubbagump gift certificate. And Benj who luckily managed to keep his both hands until the party, I don’t know whats next. Marcelle also did a series of mind-boggling magic tricks including the bending and re-straightening of fork. We were truly amazed. There is also Tina who turned out to be a good bingo host, hehe. I also met Jeff who was also a Pokemon fan back in high-school.

Speaking of pokemon… I also got the privilege speech of promoting my blog in front of all the bloggers. I guess I messed up ‘coz I wasn’t really prepared. I even forgot to promote PKMNPH despite the fact that it was the latest entry on the screen shot of my blog.

At the blog parteeh, I also met my host Noemi, Abe and lots of more familiar bloggers.

I was also happy that many bloggers there are familiar about my blog, even those ones that I thought would have no time to spare to visit my sanctuary knows this blog.

Also, in case you weren’t able to go the blog parteeh, you could just take a look at what I got from the party and the prizes. Feel free to take a peek on other’s loot bags too! Hehe.

I’m kinda doubting on the Adobe tumbler one, they were giving away marks and spencer wine then on the middle of it came a tumbler… for me. Hehe. Anyway its ok.
