Dormitories

Part of college life are getting laid and getting drunk. Before anyone would disagree (I’m sure a lot would), let me tell you that this isn’t really the topic for today. Instead, I would be talking about dormitories.

For the past four semesters I’ve been alternately living between our home and a dormitory. My situation is pretty much like a MacArthur shit that comes back to the toilet bowl right after being flushed to accompany Nemo.

Dormitories proliferate fast like mushrooms along Sampaloc, Manila. Most of them are living quarters for mice made out of chopped cardboard boxes, pretending to cater to human being students. Everything just looks like three days older than a dirt.

I was lucky to find a good one there, however it seems to be too good for me. The place is quiet, secluded place, plenty of air, wide area (I could even play hide & seek with Goliath if I want to), complete with the chubby security guard and all.

It just went overboard when they have to know my class schedule and monitor what time should I arrive, which is straight right after class. Another is that I am forced to join a one-hour bible study group. Everything else are written on the handbook of about 20 pages or so.

Oh well, I still have to see how would I do on this one. I just hope the whole experience would be close to the Dorm Daze fun, hehe.

Living in the Dormitory is like you are in a prison or rehabilitation….however, it depends in a dorm and the one who runs for it.
Sharing Bible study is good..dude.just give it a try..though you failed to mention what kind of group who just invited you….
If the environment doesn’t makes you comfortable, then ask to leave politely….but I suggest, discover the wonders of Bible and you will see yourself in there….trust me.

Looks like my post and your post were somehow inclined with each other ha. :)

Anyway. Like what I’ve said from my latest post, I need a dorm. I’d be studying at UP Los Banos - yeah, that would be three-to-four hours away from Bulacan.

    And maaaaan, it’s challenging.

:) Good thing you’ve got a good dorm. Hay. I dunno what’s in store for me there.

    *Shudders*

Whoooo. Ditto with UtakGAGO. I also need a dorm in UPLB cause, well, it’s two hours away from Alabang, so save the pagod and the time.

Had myself laughing at that. Really?
