Ozine Fest 2007
One event after the other. I just came this afternoon from the 2007 Ozine Fest held at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 2. They live up to their claim to be “one of the best con attended” last year, the place was really jam-packed with people in every anime costumes imaginable in all their flying colors.
This was honestly the first cosplay I have ever attended in my entire life - which turned out to be a great show - and I’m not really entirely an ‘otaku’. There are only select animes that I liked; first on the list pokemon, the rest like hunter x hunter, doraemon, etc. There are still a lot of anime titles there that I don’t think I have already encountered.
Spotted at the event was blogger and photographer Chris Haravata who was just with us at the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards the other night, it’s a small world after all. It turned out that he was a fan of cosplays too and was there to document the event. I also asked him to take a photo of the PKMNph team at the Ozine Fest. Thanks again Chris!
There are also several activities for the anime fans like the poring fight, eating competition, fish catching, and other else which escaped me. Even some of my friends over at pkmnph tried them and looked like they had a real good time. Come on, you don’t get the chance to fight as a cutesy poring yourself.
