Internet Explorer, Still The Dominant Browser

Not sure if the same holds true to other websites or to the whole internet community but in my case, it seems that IE is still the most used internet browser.

That is a screen shot taken from my site’s control panel web statistics for the year 2006. Just when I thought that Firefox is already the leading browser out there, it shows that Internet Explorer is used a little bit more than double the percentage of Firefox usage. In fact, I even configure my blog to taking into consideration how it would look like in a Firefox browser first. This one though is best viewed in any browser.

It is probably for the reason that IE is included in every Windows pc, which makes it an instantly available tool at hand for casual internet users. Anyone who also happen to observe this? Feel free to share your knowledge.

Yup, IE is still the dominant web browser in terms of number of users. Still, I’m happy with Firefox and I know that everyday, people are still converting. Of course, we still have to intensify our campaigns. ;)

Yup thats the reason it’s already installed in every Windows PC, but I still prefer the FireFox, it’s a safe and fast browser rather than the boring IE with its old school theme hehe.

    Go FireFox!
