Hot Summer And Rain Maker!

Aaahhhh, the temperature here in the tropics is so high now and I can’t stop being uncomfortable. And it seems that I’m not alone in feeling this hotness too. That thought makes me want to make some rain here.

Thank God I remember that I had a souvineir item that I got at Palawan last January, it’s nothing else but a very handy (specially this time) Rain Maker!

Rain Maker!

All I have to do is turn the rain maker upside-down and the things inside (probably small pieces of seeds, shells, or stones) falls thus producing the sound of a rain.

I just hope that it can also call real, wet, cool rain other than just the sound. Otherwise you already have the sound of the rain for one of your senses (hearing) to be showering with water drops. :mrgreen:

    My place is raining like crazy right now.. heavy rain pouring, lighting and storm.. some places are likely to get flooded.

    Things are funny.. too hot or too wet, both also no good.

    Rainmaker, cool! We’ve been using since highschool in our theatrical productions and music.

    Nito lang umuso sa mga malls, gaya ng isang beses na nasa SM North ako, may nakita akong rainmaker at tinesting ko kung maganda ba ang tunog o hindi, halos tumigil yung mga taong nasa paligid ko nung narinig nila, tumingin pa nga sa itaas at naghahanap ng ulan. Pero hindi ko nagustuhan ang tunog, kokonti kasi ang laman kaya tunog ihi, hehehe iniwanan ko na lang, Pero naglapitan ang mga tao at pinaglaruan, nakakatuwang makita sila na mamangha sa mga likas na bahagi ng ating kultrua. :lol:

    the rainmaker is cool!

    … but i wish it can produce real rain. it’s getting REAL hot nowadays.my shoes are actually melting.
